Okay I am 100 percent American Born in the United States.

I have my Passport and Birth Cirtificate.

But my Boyfriend of 3 years is Mexican.

We met in the US while he was working for my uncle on a temporary work visa and right now we are in Mexico.

He has a Passport and Social Security Card and they expire in 4 more years..

But my question is that how much will it cost for us to buy him a Temporary Visa or a Permanent Visa to go to the US.

How much will it cost in Dollars.

And also how long will it take to process.

Pretty much any information you can give me on this subject will be greatly appreciated and

an easy 10 points

Thanks

  1. I am Mexican and my wife is American. We met in Florida when I had an H1B working visa and then we went to live in Mexico. While there, I could come to the US and visit with her under a B2 Tourist visa that you apply for it at a US Embassy or Consulate in Mexico. This tourist visa could be for up to 10 years, but each entry into the US cannot exceed 6 months at a time (stamped on form I-94).

The Social Security Card shouldn't have an expiration, that's a unique number. If you have serious plans with him (marriage) I would recommend starting the process in Mexico, it's way quicker. However, for this you will have to apply to the Mexican residence and this process takes about a month or 2 to complete. That's what we did and I am a US resident now living in California. The US citizenship takes a bit longer (3 years after being a US resident) I hope this helps and good luck with everything.
