Question About Wii VIRTUAL CONSOLE?

Ok so I'm thinking of downloading the legend of zelda (oceneria of time) to my Wii but i'm confused. When i download it it's gonna appear as a channel of my wii (right?) and how do i play it (do i play it eith my wii remote or what? is there something else i need like a cord or something help!!)

each virtual console game has its own channel space. i just got OoT(ocarina of time) a couple days ago and it is a fun game. it takes about 300blocks of memory and you will need the classic controller or a gamecube controller

i like the classic controller because it plugs into the wii remote so its wireless.

You are correct in thinking that that the game will appear as a channel on your wii menu.

To play it, you just click the box on your wii menu that says "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time."

When you purchase it, it will tell you what controllers you can use to play it.

So the game will download onto the wii's internal hardrive. Furthermore, if you ever decide to delete the game from your wii, to make space for another game, you can always go back onto the virtual console and re-download the same game for free.

I believe that you can only play it with a gamecube controller or the classic controller.

The gamecube controller goes in the top of the wii.

You need to pull open the cover on the top of the wii to find the controller slots.

Ok, you either need a Wii Points card, or a credit card, then you buy the game, it takes a few minutes to load, then it appears as a channel. Then all you have to do is click on the channel. After that, all you have to do to play it is either 1: You have to have a classic controller, or 2: You need a Nintendo Game Cube controller. Either one will work. And that's all. The classic controller is only... $20.00 I believe, and I'm sure you could get a Game Cube controller cheap too, unless you already have one of those. Ok, hope that helped!
