  1. hardest challenge was trying not to control everything.

best reward - unconditional love from my son (who is still pre-teen)

  2. I have two children My oldest 7 is a breeze. My youngest almost 6 has spina bifoda and every day is a challenge.  He is very stubborne.  But honestly everything about being a parent is rewarding, I love every minute even the tough ones.

  3. seeing a smile on your kid.theying to make them stop crying, when they are teen they really avoid you.

  4. challenges---letting them stay out late with the car.

rewards--how they conduct themselves in public. (they are very respectful)

  5. hardest challenge so far with my 4 year old would be when she couldnt understand things when she was younger, and she would throw fits/tantrums about doing something that could have possibly harmed her (i.e. no jumping on the couch, etc.)

best rewards of being a parent i would say is just having her and being around her, watching her grow, and I LOVE it shes able to communicate with me about how exactly she feels about different things.

  6. im not a parent, actully im very young but my mom has told me the best part was watching us grow and change but be prepared for alot of fights and yelling cuz im quite a brat =]

  7. The hardest challenges is the constant nagging!

The greatest rewards is the childlike innocence.  Watching all the cute stuff they do.  The spontaneous things.

  8. Letting go, not being overprotective, letting the child decide their own path.  Obviously, you have to set rules, guidelines, standards for living, opportunities and hands-on parenting all the time, even when you are not in the mood.

Seeing them blossom into who God meant them to be, sharing their successes, grandchildren.  The hugs, I love you, how their faces light up when they see you--just experiencing their different phases of life, even though a lot of them are difficult and challenging.

  9. The hardest thing about being a parent is telling my son no and having to explain why he can't do certain things.

The best thing about being a parent is watching him grow.

  10. Hardest challenge is to not worry, rewards are when they get awards.

  11. I'm a new parent.  I haven't had a full nights sleep in the 5 & 1/2 months my daughter has been born.  that's a challenge.  the reward is seeing her smile.

  12. There are NO rewards for being a parent.

Stop the over crowding of the planet and don't have any kids.
