Was it possile for a 10 year old to live in Dachau or was kids around that age killed once they got into the camp?

It was the murderous custom for the children of that age to be gassed with a lot of  older people, and the infirm, upon arrival at the camp.

Only those who could work were spared, and then it was usually for a very short period until they broke down from disease, and starvation.
