Question about 18 yr old moving to Ireland???

I have already asked a similar question but I am 18 years old and want to go to Ireland. I've heard that it is way expensive so I was thinking of doing that helpx or wwoof program, for free rent. Has anybody here done that? and was it a good experience? Or if you did move to Ireland what did you do? Also what is the best way to get a cheap airline ticket?

  1. Never heard of either of those programmes, but then I'm not in the US.

You are far better off looking to study in Ireland, if you can. Even as a US citizen you would pay considerably less in tuition than you would at a good US university. It is an uphill battle looking for work in Ireland if you have no suitable qualifications.

  2. Well, I haven't done that, but I'm planning to have it as a vacation home when I'm older.
