Question about Adobe Premier Pro CS3...?

When I import a video onto Premier pro the video quality looks fine, But after I drop it down to the time lined to edit it, the quality sucks, Also I have no audio for some reason, Please help!

dude... can u please specify what do u mean by "quality sucks"??? is it the playing time, or is it the resolution??? if it's the playing time then u just right click and adjust the time of each frame. for example 25fps. or if u  mean resolution.... then it might be your project stage file is too big for the video that u imported. the audio might just had been turn off by default. check the audio timeline and see either it's turn off or not...
