Is Saint john's Worth good to relieve anxiety?

I have social anxiety and when I'm in public I get this extremely strong pain in my head, sort of like shots of pain.

I can't afford doctors, so I really need a natural remedy

  1. One of the best supplements we can take is calcium.  We know it's good for teeth and bones but a deficiency in it can lead to irritability, panic attacks, depression, anxiety, muscle spasms, fatigue and hypertension (high blood pressure).  You need to take the liquid form as it is easier absorbed.  They come in a soft gel capsule and are easy to take.  They usually come with Vitamin D added and should be taken with magnesium.  These can be obtained from any good drug store at a reasonably cheap price.

  2. st johns wort is a good alternative but its a little on the strong side. If your just starting out with herbs I would recommend a more gentle approach like chamomile, passion flower, hops, and valerian. THere is a product called stress-J its by natures sunshine. I personally use this because i too suffer from anxiety on a regular basis. It comes in a liquid and you put about 10 drops in your water, juice or tea and drink it. The good thing is its very discreet no one knows and it gives a calming effect within minutes without the sleepiness.

  3. Yes, St. John's Wart will help some. But there are better natural remedies. Try stretching a half an hour before you go out to the public. For lunch and dinner, eat fish and take fish oil supplements. Eat green vegetables. And drink chamomile tea. Finally, recite the mantra that "These are just people. They are just like me. Many of them are afraid too but they are better at not showing it".
