i recently started charting my BBT for the first time .. The major problem is , i rush up to bathroom in the wee hours somewhere from 2am-6 am...So it has become a bit difficult for me to chart,,but even though i am managing it and charting between 5.30 and 6.30 am..

Today i rushed to bathroom at 4 am(sorry TMI, lol) and before getting up i checked my temp which was 97.73...

and i came back and slept again and woke up at 7.30 and checked again , it was 98.10.

Now i am confused which value should i put in todays graph,,,,

here is my link http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/1ed9...

I entered the one which i took at 7.30 , i.e., 98.10...

pls help wht value should i enter today...

Appreciate a clear answer,,,(I dont enter my timings in FF.com)

  1. If I were you, I would first set a default time.

Then, I would enter the data from the FIRST time you woke up, 97.73.  This is because the 'resting' for four hours is MORE IMPORTANT than taking your temperature at the same time every day.  Because your BBT is your resting temperature.

I always take mine at 7:30 am, then go right back to sleep until about 9.  Last night, something woke me up at 4 am, and I didn't get to take my temp before getting up.  I was forced to take my temp at 9:30, rather than 7:30am.  FF gave me a white circle, indicatin that the data may be skewed a little bit.  So later, when I look at my chart, I can note that it is a white circle, and may be throwing off my graph.

    Good luck!
