Question about Baby bowels?

My friends baby is a few weeks from a year old! She discovered that she has been having White p**p and is very concerned! She has no idea if this is serious or not.....Has anyone else been through this with their babies? Please only answer if you have helpful answers not your guess! Thanks

That means there is no bile in the liver to digest the milk..take her to the doctors a.s.a.p

i have never heard of that before if  i were her i would take the baby to the doctor asap

when my son was a newborn he was having very hard poops

i talked to nurses and docs a lot about it and was always told it's not a concern unless there is blood, or white.

Im not sure if this changes as they get older, but i would definitely take him to the doc, or at least call the doc, tomorrow.

I don't remember why it's bad but my ped told me that white p**p is BAD and to bring the kids in immediately if it happens.  Sorry to be alarmist, but it was one of the things that the doctor alarmed me about!!!
