How much would a nice condo cost in Beijing?

I need an estimate. So tell me something like the amount of bedrooms or furnished or location to go along with the price. Variations will help. Sufficient answers get the Best answer award.

Prices in downtown Beijing are around 15K RMB to 70K+ RMB for higher end places.  Rental price for a well furnished 2 bedroom downtown will go about 5K RMB to 12K RMB per month.  

If you choose to live in the suburbs you can rent houses just like in the US.  Will run you about 5K USD to 8k USD per month for that. They usually have community pools, stores, lawns, etc.. Long way into town though.

Don't assume when you get there that the local agents like Century 21 or Coldwell banker will be anything like in western countries though.  There is no real affiliation and the will give you foreign prices.  Never buy outside of Shanghai or Beijing either as you will lose. If you are moving here it would be good to look into talking to a relocation company if your company is not providing one.  Santa Fe and Crown Relocation have a good base here.
