Question about Best Buy Credit ?

Best Buy has a financing thing where you can buy over a certain amount of money worth of items and get 0 intrest for 12 months.. I was waundering, with no credit history, good or bad, how much would a 19 year old male get accepted for?

This question is for someone who KNOWS what there talking about not people who think credit is stupid and i shouldnt do it.. my boyfriend is looking into it and needs a new laptop for school.

There's no definite way to tell for how much you will get approved, it really depends if you have a stable job,and if you have been paying your bills on time. But if you do get approved, make sure you pay it back on time, or the interest will keep pilling up. And when you pay it back on time it goes to show that you are responsible with your finances and it will boost your credit score.

And BTW CD there's no way they will just hand you a credit card for $1000 without running your credit check. I use to work for Comp Usa and Office Depot, trust me.

I'll tell you this.

I filled out the application, it asked me how much i wanted to be approved for, I wrote $1,000, handed the application in, and they gave me a temporary card right on the spot without checking my credit. I used it that very same day.

bought a laptop myself, along with a digital camera, a PS2 and some other stuff.

oh yeah, i'm 18.
