Question:

Question about Chocolate...?

I'm making some Mint Chocolate brownies for work tomorrow...

and I'm planning on using a box brownie mix, and then taking a bunch of those Ande's Mints and melting them in a double-boiler, then spreading them on top.

Will this make the chocolate part hard or soft? Will this even work? I need help!

  1. Yes it will work or you can melt peppermint patties too and spread them on top.  If your icing doesn't harden to your liking then set it in the fridge for a while to harden up.  If you want it soft then leave it out at room temperature.

  2. Why don't you try mixing the candies into the batter then baking it?

I do that all the time!

  3. sounds good
