Question:

Question about Contact Lense solutions (opti free replenish and express)

Just started wearing contact lenses (best invention ever) anyway, since I'm new to them I just ran out of the little bottle of solution my dr. gave me. So my dad came home with opti free express (my dr had given me replenish) anyway, I thought they were the same thing (apparantly they're not??) anyway, the express hurt my eyes as soon as I put my lenses in. So if I go buy replenish today is it OK for me to just change the solution or do I need to open a new pack of contacts (they're monthy's and I've only worn them for about 9 days)

  1. I suggest making the change overnight, allowing your lenses to soak in the new solution for longer. I don't think you'll need to change lenses, but let your eyes be the judge of that - if they hurt, better move on to the next ones.
