Question about DVR?

If I start recording a show after it starts, will it also record the begining, before I pressed record? I have Verizon Fios btw.

The DVRs that can record up to 90 minutes of what you're watching will usually catch the entire program if the DVR has been tuned to that channel - up to 90 minutes back.  So if it's a 3 hour program and you hit record at the end, you'll only get 90 minutes of it even if it has that capability.

  3. It depends, usually there is an option, like when you're about to record and if you have been watching the show for the entire time you can start the recording since you've watched and if you watched the whole time this includes the beginning.

  4. No, unless you were on that channel when the show began, then it will record from the beginning. If you put on the channel (change from another) after it has already began, it will record from where you started.

  6. Can't say 100% with your model... but with mine, If I'm watching the show from the beginning and then hit record, it will include the beginning in the recording.  If I switch to a channel mid-program and hit record it picks it up from where I started watching.
