Question about Disney World!!!?

Hi,

I was just wondering how busy the Disney Parks will be in the first two weeks of October, will the school in florida be off then, does anyone know the dates of when the school children will be off in October.

The first 2 weeks of Oct is the PERFECT time to visit Disney.  We're annual passholders, and that's our very favorite month.  We've been every month multiple times.  Our kids have friday, Oct 10th off school, but even then it's still a great time to visit Disney.  In October you have perfect weather and light crowds.  You'll love Disney in October!

Thanks for pointing that out, btw, because now I need to go look for a hotel that weekend.  hehe!

You should be fine! Most kids are in schools at this time so it shouldn't be that busy!

I really want to visit Disney in the fall at some point because everytime I have gone to Disney is in the summer

I believe that almost the whole US is in school at this point but I know that in college we have off October 9th and 10th is that helps, it might be busy for that long weekend. It used to be fairly empty during this time but people are starting to catch on now and pulling their kids out of school for a vacation. It is however not nearly as crowded as it would be during the summer and the weather is perfect. Have a great trip!

Florida in October is quieter than summer or Easter. The theme parks are much easier to get round with less queues. It can still be hot but not as humid. It is still in the rainy season so keep a check on the weather channel as it can rain quite a bit.

it will be busier than average parks but  not as busy as xmas o r thanksgiving or summer hols.

Most dchools in the us are bck and most o fthe world also

well columbus day is on the 13th this year so the school kids would have a 3 day weekend but other than that the begining of october is a great time to go.

the crowds will be very light and the weather will be warm but not hot.
