I am now 11dpo and have been getting a positive with these tests ever since 7dpo!

I think thats crazy you know!

At 8dpo I took the test from dollar general that costs $4 and that was negative.

Then again on the 9,10, and 11th day still got positives on the $1 pregnancy test.

I also went to target and bought the cheapy test that are compared to first response.

Of course I got a positive but then did research on them and woman say they have been getting false negatives b/c they have blue dye not pink?

Anywho on the $1 tests line pink line is clear as day but not super dark ... are they supposed to be super dark?

I am due for AF on the 12th so I can wait to buy a test till then but just curious if all these positive tests where right...

we are TTC baby number 2.

1st month trying and I think maybe it worked!

  1. OK first off CONGRATS  your pregnant! It doesn't matter how faint the line is it's positive. It is just early in the pregnancy. So have a happy and healthy 9 months!

  2. Congratulations!!!

I got my first two positives on $1 Dollar General tests...clear, but sort of faint...at exactly 11 dpo!

I wasn't absolutely convinced until I went and bought 3 digital tests and got 3 positives with them as well. Those are great because you don't have to interpret crazy lines.

I've heard you can get false negatives, but a false positive, not to mention several false positives, would be rare!

I've also heard that the dollar store tests are some of the most sensitive because, they're the kinds my doctor uses!

I'd reccomend getting the digital tests...they just flat out tell you...Yep! You're "Pregnant!" LOL

Good luck and I'm pretty sure Congratulations are in order! :o)

    BABY DUST!!!

  3. I hope things work out for you!

  4. The dollar general tests are actually one of the most accurate on the market surprisingly enough.  I would say you are pregnant.

  5. you should get a blood test, anytime you receive a positive urine test you should call your OB and get scheduled for a blood test right away to confirm the results.  I hope this is your month!!  Let us know!

  6. $ store test are great =) I used them && they gave me the correct results every time..good luck

  7. All test are defiantly different. If you got a couple of positives your preggo.

  8. Every test has a different sensitivity to the amount of pregnancy hormones needed to produce a positive result.  Read the instruction booklet thoroughly or check their websites for the specific amount needed for each.  The ones coming out negative probably require a higher level of the hormone.  I always use the $1 pregnancy tests and I've never gotten a false positive..

  9. It sounds to me like you are baby number 2 on the way. I would think that you may get a false positive on maybe one but on several what are the odds.

    Congrats and best of luck!

  10. I took the $1 test and everything was correct, i even bought 1 more to make sure. You will get better results if you take it as soon as you wake up.

  11. I would say all the positives are probably correct. But i cannot give you an answer for sure because i used 4 $1 tests and got all positives from 15dpo, So i went and brought 2 crystal clear tests from the chemist (they were about $15) and got 2 strong positives results. I am 5 days late for when i was *supposed* to get my period and i have started bleeding very heavy. So i'm not sure about the *suspected* false positives that come from cheap tests...i could almost say yes...But i'm not a doctor or a pregnancy test. I recommend going for a blood test. I'm getting my results back tomorrow so i have to sit tight until then to find out if this is a miscarriage or my period.

I hope you are pregnant...i don't wish feeling like this on anyone.

    Goodluck!!
