Question about Endorphins?

A few years ago me and my sister's fiancee went to to his villageby bike which was 10 kilometers away from the city

When we arived there i felt like my body was lifted from every sin i have made as i tho i was High(i u know what i mean)

And now while watching Grappler Baki(anime) i read the subs and learnt about Endorphins. Is that what caused me to feel so hi then?

endorphins are natural pain killers that the brain produces in response to pain.

Endorphins are the brains natural opiates (as in opium). They are released in response to pain and physical stress (like marathon running or yes, biking long distances at a rapid pace). When a drug user takes heroin, opium, morphine and to a much lesser extent, codeine, these drugs activate the endorphin neurotransmitter systems in the brain leading to euphoria (heroin) or extreme well being (morphine and opium).
