Question about Google capabilities...?

If Yahoo, MSN, and AOL - which can also serve as search engines - have Instant Messenger and e-mail services and features, why doesn't Google - one of the largest search engines- have its own e-mail and IM features...Does this or will it exist?

They do.

Google Talk for IM and Gmail for email.

so you really don't know about  xxxxmyid@gmail and google chat?

really I thought everybody had at least one gmail account -- I use four.

You never saw google talk either?.  Have you been on google lately?

Google has email and IM features. There has email, they call it Gmail. There IM is on there mail. they have no own messenger. But you can IM from email when one of your contacts is online.

It does.  It's called "gmail" and it has a messenger as well.
