Question about Guinea Pigs. Someone said I should not use Vitamin C drops in their food.?

Why would this be bad? I got the drops and want to put it in their water today. Also, how often should I bring them to the Vet? What is the Vet checking?

Guinea pigs do not naturally produce vitamin C, so they NEED it.

Go ahead and put vit C drops in their water, but be aware those drops r usually strong and 1 or 2 drops should be fine.

It is also good if u feed them food from the pet store that says on the package, "with added Vitamin C".

Vet check-ups are expensive...only have ur guionea pigs checked out when they r sick, acting strangly, or u think there's something wrong. As long as they look healthy, they don't need a vet.
