My sister got a faint positive at 12dpo on a $ store preg. test Thursday (2 of them) she then took 1 first responce got 2 lines the second line was about 60% lighter than the first, and a clear blue easy that said "pregnant" that same day she had blood work done and her quantitative was 23 and her progesterone was 10, she took a first responce the next morning it was a little bit darker than the day before, and she took a Clear blue easy digital one in the evening and it said "pregnant". She is going back for more blood work today, but is worried because she did another first responce test this morning and it is the lightest of them all! Her doctor put her on 400mg. of a progesterone suppliment yesterday, but she fears she may not be pregnant anymore? Today is the day her period is suppose to start so far nothing, but has this ever happened to anyone and everything was okay? Also, she took all tests first thing in the morning, except for the second digital she took late last night.

  1. She has to stop stressing that's not going to help her out at all.

She is pregnant and she has already seen the doctor so shes on the right track, every ones hcg level is different and goes up at different rates, she is still pregnant until she has the baby or she starts bleeding. If she starts bleeding then she needs to she her doctor right away with no questions asked .

  2. All my pregnancy tests came up positive even the digital ones said  pregnant i went to the doctors he took 3 blood tests first quantitative was 56 he told me i was just pregnant the second one was 67 then the last one was 22 when i saw him with the results he told me i wasnt pregnant it turns out i started bleeding the next day unfortunately i lost the pregnancy that's why my HCG level dropped.HCG levels should double every 24-48hrs just keep an eye on your sisters blood work it should be ok though becuase the doctor has put her on progesterone suppliments which plays a very important part of the pregnancy once the progesterone drops the pregnancy can't keep progressing hope all turns out well with ur sister.Have a look at the two websites below about HCG levels.Hope this has helped your sister a bit.

  3. i am going through fertility clinic and they would say at those levels it is a pregnancy, the progesterone is a bit on the low side but the meds are great in helping that.. she would still be 100% pregnant,

in early days they monitor you more closely if levels of hcg and progesterone are a bit on the low side..how dark the line was on the tester is nothing to worry about, she is definently pregnant it doesn't matter how light or faint

lots of luck to you and your sister
