Question about Hijab.........!?

Asalaamu Alaikom Everyone!

ahlan!!!!!! i'm a new hijabi (woooooo! *scream*!!!!! lol) and like for school in the mornings i try different ways of putting on the hijab.....but when i leave the house, its always the same way because i don't know what i'm doing.

i've seen some muslimahs that wear it almost like an amira, but its not one, like they don't have that "v" in the back, so i was wondering can someone show me a video or online instructions on how to wear it , where its easier for school (book bags, purses and stuff)....and a little more modern looking : p ? shukran jazilan in advance!!!!!!!!!

I think the most fashionable one are the wrap kind(sorry, i don't know the actual name), they are also more convenient.

ahlan wa sahlan! my real name is Amira! lol mayb i can describe one for u insha'Allah.{God Willing}  



if you hav any long rectangle higabs. take it through these steps

1. place the higab {towards the end, not too much} on your head and over your ears.

2. pin the higab comfortable behind your head.

3. take the longer end and swoop it under your chin.

NOTE: IF YOU HAVE ANY NICE EAR RINGS PUT THEM ON.

           WITH THIS STYLE THE TOP OF HIGAB SHOULD BE JUST COMFORTABLE ON YOUR EAR LOPES. I SUGGEST SOME DANGLE EARRINGS.

4. in the middle of the back of your head pin the longer end.

5. now on both sides of the higab behind your ear lopes. should be where the top of the higab, and the longer portion ends meet. place a pin in both of these places. be care u don't poke your heads. the longer portion of the higab is to cover your neck.

NOTE: THIS STYLE AND THE PINS WILL STAY IN PLACE BETTER IF YOU WEAR AN UNDER SCARF.

this is as far as i can take you phyiscally. if your familiar with molding cloth into a shape of a flower. this is the mostly used way for this style. make your self a little flower where you pined the longer end behind you head. pin each pettel. it's a lot of pin, keep count as you can so that they don't suprise you later.
