I am going to be traveling to Houston from Beaumont in a few days. Does anyone know how to get to a street called Post Oak? Can you get it from IH-10? Does anyone have directions to this street? Thanx:))

  1. Larry R is correct about Post Oak Blvd. The other Post Oaks are North Post Oak & South Post Oak.

The one you want is the one by the Galleria off of Loop 610.

  2. There are 2 streets in Houston with the name Post Oak.  North Post Oak Road is near the Galleria and Post Oak Boulevard is near Myerland.  They are close to each other but in very different neighborhoods.

  3. Post Oak is a very large street in the Galleria Area. It runs North/South just a few blocks to the west of, and parallel to, the 610 west loop.

It is very easy to find.  You will be coming in on I-10.  Stay on I-10 past downtown, till you get to the 610 Loop. Follow the signs and get onto the 610 loop going SOUTH.  Your first exit should be Post Oak.  If you get to San Felipe you can use that exit too, just go west a couple of blocks.

OR go to google maps and type in "San Felipe and Post Oak Houston Texas" and a map will pop up.

  4. Post Oak is the first exit past loop 610 West (you'll drive past downtown Houston).
