How long does a 3rd gen. Ipod Nano last if after being fully charged ??

and also does watching a high quality video istead of listening to music use more charge ?

video takes a lot more power, yes.

After about a 2 hour charge (full) you can listen to music for up to 24 hours AND 5 hours of video. If you want to listen to more music, your amount of video time goes down.
