Question about Itunes

Question

Almost all of my songs on itunes comes up with a " The song "_____" could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it? ". I dont know what to do because ive never had this problem before and i download all my music from limewire and just drag it into itunes. Help ! : (

you should consolidate your library when you add items, that way the files wont randomly go "missing".. You can have your library consolidated everytime you add a file automatically by going into iTunes preferecnes and then going to advanced, then check off "Copy files to iTunes Music folder" and then hit OK

well maybe u should drag it from limewire to your documents THEN to itunes, ive got that message before too. hope that works. GOD BLESS <3

what itunes does is allow you to play your music without having to click on each one u want to hear. initially you drag your music from limewire to itunes well then wherever the music file was when u put it in itunes, thats where itunes will look for the file. if it says it can't find it, you either renamed it, put it somewhere else, or deleted it. if you just renamed or put somewhere else then just re add it.
