Question about Joomla header?

I'm new to Joomla - how do you remove the "Joomla" sign and logo at the top, and replace it with text (name of my site) for right now?

Remove and edit it? Will a new template work best for adding in my own info in the header?

I hope I don't have to add in a whole new logo of my own for this moment.

There's supposed to be a lot of information out there, but I've seen very little, especially concerning the header, which is what just about everyone is going to encounter first. Please help - I need some specfic, exact details, not just "you need to replace it." How?

A new template work best for adding in your own info in the header.

You can log into your hosting account then view the directory where Joomla resides, if you click on templates then click the template you are using.

You will see all the files for that template.

Click on the images folder then you can download, alter or delete the logo.png / jpg.

Using photoshop or some other program just get the images (header) you require, edit it then upload it again.

Bingo, you have customized your logo or heading...
