Ok, so i am starting junior year and its usually the most important year. Im really worried because im not in any honor or AP classes but i still get A's and B's. Do you think i can still get in to a good school like Columbia? or am i going to be stuck in a community college?

thanks in advance :)

  1. you will not go to community college with A's and B's. but columbia is a bit of a reach without hard classes. you should try and switch your schedule to get a few. even one would help. but dont worry..some of the smartest people i have ever known started off at a community/junior college and then ended up transfering. keep that in mind!

  2. You can get into a University, but Columbia is out of reach with no AP or honor classes. Even with these classes you will still need great grades. However, you are not limited to community colleges. Its still not to late to take on some ap or honor classes. Also do well on the SAT if you outscore AP classes it says something about your intelligence.

  3. Eh, maybe. AP classes are very important (or so everyone says). If you can't switch into any AP/honors classes, aim for stellar grades and lots of exracurriculars.

  4. u wont be at a community college with A's and B's you will be able to get into a good school.  Maybe not every UC but def much better then community college.  I dont know about columbia but try to get the A's

  5. I STRONGLY recommend you take AT LEAST honors classes. I don't know if you have ever taken them, but they aren't hard at all. Colleges really want to see honors and esp AP, even though I only took 1 AP class :/
