Question:

Question about MBTA fares and passes?

I need to take the 426 Bus from Revere (Lynn St.) to Haymarket and then the Green line (to Washington st.) to work multiple times per week.

I am having difficulties finding fares. The bus line isn't "local" and the monthly pass is $40, while the T pass is $59/month.

Are there any other cheaper alternative than $100/mo to commute to work?

Thanks!

  1. You could get the "Inner Express" pass, but it's $89, which isn't that much of a discount.  Consider it anyway, though, as it is also good on the subway.  Also, in the morning only, there are some 426s to Wonderland, which ARE considered local, but you can't take that back outbound in the afternoon.  It's all your call.

    To clarify:

426 to Haymarket = Express Bus

426 to Wonderland = Local Bus
