Question:

Question about Magic the Gathering!?

Hi, I was thinking of buying Magic the gather cards (Land Tax) on ebay listed as, "MtG Magic 1x x1 PreCon White Rare Reprint." What does this mean. I searched the internet and can only find two editions of this card. One in legends and one in 4th edition. Can someone help me? Is it different? Is it legal to use?

Thanks so much

  1. land tax, legends

    land tax, 4th

    land tax, battle royale

thats all i know, own it and love it its very usefull, but only play it in casual, it is not type 2 legal. cause its banned in Legacy, Extended, standard and only legal in vintage .

  2. As for the "1x x1 precon", it would have made more since if he just said Land Tax x1 instead. After checking into the card (My friend's words) "it's the real thing, fourth edition, unsigned and the they did not make preconstructs back then."  WWW.MAGICTHEGATHERING.COM says it came in a Battle Royale box as well so that may explain the "precon" and for the record it's "uncommon."
