In terms of numbers, how big is the world wide fan base for NASCAR and where can I get statistical information about driver earnings for driving, commercial endorsements, and merchandising?

  1. As jt said it's very small, it's only popular in the states, and as far as F1 not having a fan base you obviously know nothing about F1,a world wide fan base,would you believe.

Well hmm a couple races ago I can't remember which driver didn't have a sponsor but since they didn't they had the number of fans that watches that can become a sponsor for him and the number on the race car was 22 million. So I would have to say that there is 22 million nascar fans. Now as for statistical information and all that you probably can find it at nascar.com or each and everyone of the drivers web page but that would take a very long time.

COMMERCIAL ENDORSMENTS IS ATLEAST 1 MILLION PER COMMERCIAL..........   6. if you compare the number of people who attend a race as opposed to the number of people who attend other sporting events, you'll get an idea of a ratio. 150,000 people. NASCAR is more of an American sport and that's why the people are so dedicated. After all it is based on the American Automotive Industry.
