Hi

I know that Nike+ipod can measure the distance of run and calories burned.

I wonder that are those data showed at my ipod when I am running or in order to read those data, I have to connect my ipod to my computer after running?

Thanks a lot

  1. It's shown on the screen on the ipod I believe.

With the calories information, what are you going to do as you are running? Are you going to make the road more or less hilly to burn more or less calories?

The distance data could be useful to know how far you have run and when to turn round, but a £6 map will let you figure that out or mapmyrun website (for free!) to work it out before you go. Its useful if you are say, in a race and you want to know how far to the end and if to make more effort with, say a mile to go (however many races are now banning personal music players for safety reasons).

Ignore the calorie information till after the run and maybe use the distance and speed information as you run, but like the other answerer suggests, the screen can be tricky to read (especially with ipod strapped to an arm for example). You could look at the Nike+ sports band for the wrist which might be easier to read

  2. yeah it comes up on your screen

it's kinda inconvenient to read though, but you can get it to say it out loud

you know it's only the nano that works yeah...
