Question about OIL?

DO YOU THINK ITS BAD *FOR* THE EARTH THAT WE TAKE SOO MUCH OIL FROM IT. DOES IT CAUSE PROBLEMS THAT ARE BAD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT OTHER THAN OIL SPILLS?

People who say its ok because the CO2 produced is normal in the Earth's cycle are thinking about how fast we are putting the CO2 back into the atmosphere. Instead of taking millions of years its only taking a couple of centuries.

No as it is part of natures cycle. CO2 to plants and that gives us O2 , then the plant keeps the C. The plant dies and it breaks down into oil& gas. It is natures recycle.

i think that the oil keeps the earth fresh and non barren and it is bad 2 take it cuz wen u use the oil not only is it being taken fom the earth but wen it gets back it hurts it with pollution

Using oil is bad.  Irresponsible s*x is bad.  Are we going to stop doing either?  NO.  So don't bother even addressing it as a philosophical question.  Eventually we'll run out (pretty soon) and then it will be a history question.
