Question about Old Dominion University...

I'm going into the Navy in October and most likely I will be stationed in Norfolk,VA. I want to go to college while I'm there to be a teacher and found Old Dominion University in Virginia. I also saw that they have programs designed for students in the military. My question is, if I go to Old Dominion for my bachelors,would I be able to teach in another state like NY or Massachusetts or would it only be good in Virginia?

If you get your BA in Virginia that doesn't mean you can teach.  Each state has a teaching credential test you'd have to take.  Sometimes this means you'd need to take more classes in another state and sometimes not.  When you plan to move, research the teaching credentials for that particular state.  The Department of Education for each state will have that information.
