Question:

Question about Over Eaters anonymous.?

Has anyone tried it?

How did it work?

I'm asking because I'm a compulsive over eater. I eat constantly when I'm alone (I don't like people to see my true eating habits). It used to not matter because I would purge after the binge and all would be alright. Now, my gag reflex has faded and I've been in therapy for almost 2 years (for that and other issues). I've tried to bring up the subject of my eating to my therapist, but she doesn't seem to want to address it (she always asks me another question totally unrelated or brings up another subject).

My final worry is that I'm 15 and not technically obese (yet, but with these eating habits, I'm not sure how much longer that will be the case). Would I be allowed to attend?

I just want to stop this vicious cycle (with food) and seize control of my life.

  1. PLAN your meals ahead of time

and eat a SMALL amount ever 3 hours

    that way

your digestion system will stay in constant motion

and you wont be HUNGRY and keep eating

    planning your food helps because

    if you plan it

you wont spend time infront of your fridge wondering what to eat

    and end up eating everything

and dont deny yourself of the foods you like

becuase you'll only crave it more

just eat it in controlled portions

if you usually eat 5 pieces of chocolate at a time

    try only eating 4

    then 3

    and so on

only changing your diet a LITTLE at a time

that way your body and mind wont think you're not eating

    and try to stay busy

    because

most people walk unconsciously to the fridge when they're bored

    lol
