Question about Peugeot single speed bike?

I want to buy this bike and the asking price is $440. Do you think that the price is worth it?

Far too high.

Like 1st answer old parts etc, wasn't worth $440 when new. it's worth far less now. <$100

You could buy a brand new 2008 single speed for not much more than $440 dollars.  For example, a 2008 Raleigh Rush Hour fixed gear bike should run about $500 or so.  That asking price is way too much.  I agree--I would not spend more than $100 dollars.

No way, an old frame set up for fixed gear..front brakes only, worth $50 at most..

It depends on how good of shape it is in...$440 sounds a bit high for an old fixie, but I know people who LOVE them and collect them.
