  2. Article II of the Constitution of the United States (Google it to find a copy) spells out the duties and responsibilities of the President.

    Though it is usually ignored, Article I spells out the LIMITED powers of the congress.

  3. the presidents job is to preserve the constitution and protect the people. the president needs approval from congress to go to war (declaration of war).
