Question about Professionally Reglazing tub and tile?

If you have had this done are you happy with the results? Are there any negatives? Please include how long ago you had it done. Thanks!

had one done two years ago still looks great Slick is right on about the smell

reglazing your tub is restoring it to a new finish. it will last as long as the finish on a new one. no cons except for the smell when they do it. other than that its alot cheaper and looks great,. good luck

My tile and tub were in excellent shape, but awful aqua color with maroon trim. I had them re-glazed 8 years ago in bright white and then replaced my toilet and sink with new matching white ones. I was thrilled with the job especially considering how much it would have cost to rip out and replace. You do have to be careful about dropping or scratching especially in the tub (it will chip).  And you can't use a tub mat as it will ruin the color. My wall tile still looks like new, but I think I am near ready to have the tub done again. Not bad for 8 years. One of the best investments I have made.
