Question about Putting MP3/WAV onto a CD that would be playable in a car cd-player.

Would i need CD-Rs or DVD-Rs, or can i use either? What could i use to burn the cd with it, just drag and drop into the drive or use a special burner. The car is a 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara.

Yea use CD-Rs or the stereo can read it, most stereos have labels on the front of what kind of disk's they can read.

Use iTunes or Windows Media Player and "Burn an audio CD" from your tracks.  I would stick to CD-R and even then the player may have trouble reading it.
