Question:

Question about R-Truth/WWE...?

When R-Truth first came out, he got almost no reaction from the crowd. As the match went on, and he showed what moves he has in the ring..the fans were behind him more. When he finally pinned Kenny Dykstra..he got a cheer...not a huge pop, but the fans were more behind him at the end of the match than when he came out for the match.

So if when wrestlers unknown to WWE fans, get cheered after they show what they can do in the ring:

Q: Why doesn't the WWE let more wrestlers who got talent show what they can actually do instead of holding them back?

  1. B/C these newbies never experience how good wrestling was in the A.E days.

Q: All they care about now is how much merchandise you sell rather then talent.

  2. they are still getting use to him that is what they do with former tna stars, fans will start cheering for him more in the next weeks .     wq//-because most of them arent as big as the other wrestlers, and vince likes the big wrestlers.

  3. I wasn't really impressed with R-Truth tonight honestly.  I've seen him do a lot better before.  I think a lot of his reaction was generated by Kenny's promo before the match.  I agree that most of the fans get behind the wrestlers based on their in-ring performance rather than vignettes or backstage promos.  It does make you wonder why guys like Charlie Haas and Jamie Noble are held back when they could be way over if WWE allowed them to display their wrestling ability.  It has worked for Shelton Benjamin, who has gotten over based almost exclusively on his in-ring skills since moving to Smackdown.  I'd prefer if WWE relied more on matches to get their wrestlers over and less on vignettes and promos.  Even on Raw with Primo Colon, he didn't get much reaction when he came out, but the fans were really behind him by the end of the match.  This kind of thing happens a lot, and you'd think WWE would notice it and adjust their policies to take advantage of it.

  4. Some people, WWE wants to get over with the crowd before they push them. Many wrestling fans know who Ron Killings is, so they figured they could go ahead and push him from the start. My bet is that next week he beats Kozlov and feuds with him. This feud will likely put them both over into a higher level of competition.

  5. the fans always do that. I was actually looking foward the r-truth and he did really good. they just liked him for his fancy moves...

    idk. WWE is unkown sometimes.

  6. hes not in my top 15 favorite wrestlers he didnt do anything and whats up with is dance moves?
