My dad recently purchased this old tv for a good price. It works fine, but the screen seems to be stretched out horizonatally. I know that you could adjust this on many old tv's. Can someone tell me how this was for this tv? We don't have the original remote, but these days we might be able to work around it. I'll give points to the answer that works or the best shot at a correct answer.

  1. Well...  I can't be sure, but my guess is that there's an adjustment somewhere on the main control board.  There might be access holes in the back of the unit that you can use a plastic (not metal) screwdriver or "tweaker" to make the adjustments.

If there aren't any holes for this on the back, chances are the controls can only be accessed with the back taken off  I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING THIS unless you are a qualified tech... the fly-back transformer on a set like this generates about 22 - 28Kv - that's 22 to 28,000 volts to you and me.
