Doesn't the uvb reptisun light stop/prevent vitamin d3 overdose?

no if you have every meal for your reptile have vitamin d3 and have a uvb on thats leads to overdose its like when your sick you can't take alot of pills(medications) or you can have problems

Using a UVB light will not stop or prevent a D3 overdose but it will help you avoid it. Exposure to UVB allows the animal to synthesize vitamin D3 naturally. The body will not make more then it needs so there is no risk of overdose. With the animal safely synthesizing  some of its own D3 through UVB exposure, less needs to be supplemented through the diet. It is the dietary form that can be overdosed
