What inexpensive things can I do with my husband on and off shore? Where is the best place to go in the washington dc area for a passport?

I am a first time cruiser.

Probably the best and easiest place to get your passport is any post office.

Other than that, You have made a Great Choice with Royal Caribbean.  Pack light.  Nice clothes for the formal dinner on board with the Captain, but, other than that -- two,,, maybe three changes of comfortable stuff, and leave the rest to RC!!

They take care of you like royalty, and the ships are excellent.

Recently spent a week on the Enchantment Of The Seas, and the entire crew was top notch.  Cruise Director could take over the Tonight Show from Jay Leno.

Prepare for a good experience the likes of which you cannot imagine, if this is your first time!!!

Just take some extra cash.  You may not need it, but it's nice to have around if you do.
