I have recently become VERY interested in all things to do with the royal family...especially the Tudor period, Henry VIII, Anne Boleyn etc....A rumor that Ive heard of that there was a queen that practiced zoophilia with her horses and as a result died from one of her horses falling on top of her....Can anyone give me a link to prove such a rumor? And also the name of which queen it could have been?

Thanks for any information!!

  1. I think it was Catherine The Great of Russia

  2. The rumor was about Catherine the Great of Russia, but it is not true-just a legend. She actually died of a stroke. This rumor is so persistent that even a college professor of mine related it as a true story!

Prepare for an interest all your life with the Tudors-there is always something new to learn! I share the affliction!

  3. I also am interested in the Tudor period, but I have never heard that rumour.

  4. The story's not true but the Queen in Question was not British but Catherine the Great of Russia.
