Question:

Question about SAT1 "subject scores"?

When I have three separate scores, lets say 600math, 620read, 580write, and another SAT1 test I got 680math, 580read, 640write, can you pick and choose the HIGHEST SCORE COMBINATION? Like, can I say my overall best SAT1 score is 680math, 620read, and 640write? Or does this depend on colleges...

Thanks in advance

  1. Depends on colleges....

some of them may not even give you a letter grade - but credit only.

  2. Like you said, it depends on colleges.  Some colleges (including the college I attended) will "superscore" your SAT by taking the highest score of each section, which would be 680math, 620read, and 640write.  Other schools will only consider the best single testing date's score.  Other schools average.  Other schools take the most recent test only.
