Question:

Question about SUV's and gas?

Is it not funny, and sad simultaneously, that the big automakers of SUV's (i.e. Chrysler, etc.) exploit the high price of gas by offering a fixed price of say 2.99 for gas for the next x years. Goes to show you they will do whatever it takes to sell their gas-guzzling, environment polluting SUV's. At least make more of them hybrids!

  1. sooo agreed

ford is evn worse with suvs.

at least GM and the imports are doing a decent job at more efficient suvs

  2. umm open your eyes. hybrids are bad for the environment. do you even know how they get the battery for the prius?

    1. nickel mined in canada

    2. shipped to germany for processing into liquid c**p

    3. liquid c**p shipped to plant in china for manufacturing of battery

    4. battery shipped to japan for assembly of car

    5. car shipped to dealership in america to sell.

you see how much it takes to make hybrid vehicles? not to mention how unsafe they are if your ever in an accident with all the high voltage battery equipment in the car.

  3. I'm sorry but I don't see a question, only a statement.

  4. This is just the typical kind of unthinking tripe that I keep hearing around the water cooler.

You're going to have to kick it up about 3 notches to get it to an intelligible level, before anybody is going to be able to agree or disagree.  Right now it's too nonsensical.
