Question about Sanyo PLC-XP45 projectors aspect ratio.?

Considering buying one used. It says it's native ratio is 4:3 but does not say if it is 16:9 compatible. Here is the specs on this unit>>> http://www.projectorcentral.com/Sanyo-PLC-XP45.htm

Does anyone know if I use my PS3 to play blue-ray/Hd movies will it display widescreen, 16:9 or will it stretch the image to 4:3. Kinda new at this, I'm building a backyard theater.

Best thing to do is leave the PS3 aspect ratio alone. It's true you will have a mask (black bar) across the top and bottom of the image, but if you stretch your picture to fit in a 4x3 area, you will either have unnaturally tall people etc. or you will in effect be zooming and you will cut off the left and right sides of your picture.

You'll end up with black bars on top and bottom from your PS3 in 16:9 mode, so hopefully it allows you to change to 4:3 at 480i...
