  1. let's hope mccain wins over obama.. help him out by voting for him on this page!

  2. First of all...that first answer with the Wikipedia quote deserves to be addressed.  McCain is running for President and is a sitting Senator.  His campaign has millions of dollars...dont you think he has someone that can "maintain" his wiki page so that it looks how he would want it to look?

Second...ANYTHING on Wikipedia talking about McCain's torture is from his own mouth.  It is either from an interview or from one of his own books.  It is like believing Clinton that he didnt have s*x with "that woman, Ms Lewinsky".....because it says so on Wikipedia (sourced from his own biography).  Ridiculous.

I agree that most people would crumble under torture, Im sure I would and I wouldnt ever say otherwise.  That said....noone else ever saw McCain being tortured.  He says that it got so bad he was going to kill himself......yet he didnt leave when he had the chance.  He would rather stay with people who torture him, he would rather make multiple tapes of propaganda....he would rather go to the point of suicide, before he would want to go home.

If you are willing to believe McCain's wiki entry and that line of nonsense, you should at least have a look at what some actual decorated veterans have to say about McCain.

  3. If you had went thru what he did, you would have signed too.

  4. Signed, taped. The NVA used to call McSahme "Songbird" for his willingness to spill his guts. Go to Viet-Nam Veterans Against McCain and get the straight p**p from his co-inhabitants in the camp, not some glazed over wiki c**p. What you see will leave you speechless.

  5. If you can even call this a confession.  Also of note, McCain never divulged any national security information or said anything that could have led to death and/or injury to other Americans.

In August 1968, a program of severe torture began on McCain.[43] He was subjected to rope bindings and repeated beatings every two hours, at the same time as he was suffering from dysentery.[32][43] Further injuries led to the beginning of a suicide attempt, which was stopped by guards.[32] After four days, McCain made an anti-American propaganda "confession".[32] He has always felt that his statement was dishonorable, but as he would later write, "I had learned what we all learned over there: Every man has his breaking point. I had reached mine."[44][45] His injuries left him permanently incapable of raising his arms above his head.[46] He subsequently received two to three beatings per week because of his continued refusal to sign additional statements.[47] Other American POWs were similarly tortured and maltreated in order to extract "confessions" and propaganda statements.[48]
