Question about SlingBox?

My brother just put it on my computer so I can watch his TV. He has Tivo. So my question is, would his TV have to be on for me to be able to watch it too?? And also do you think he would get mad if I paused his TV on him? lol

Yes, the slingbox just shows what the tv has on at the moment and must be on when you want to watch it.  

You can control everything you would be able to control as if you were at home with the remote.  There is actually a little remote that pops up next to the video portion.  

You guys might run into some problems trying to watch it at the same time, if you pause it, it will pause at the house.  He could always just unplug the actual "slingbox" though.

Good luck, oh yeah did you know they have it for your phone.  Where you can watch everything on your phone (as long as you have a certian type of phone with windows mobile or symbian s60 operating systems)
