Question about Slingbox because I am thinking about buying one.?

Question

Can someone watch their shows on the TV set with the slingbox, and at the same time have someone in the other room watch their own shows at the same time on a laptop?

Or does the channel change on both sets when one person changes the channel?

nope.. its just "Slinging" or streaming the video/audio from the TV/receiver to your computer.. you can control it as much as the person infront of the TV can control it..
