When a season of a TV series ends, like weeds or 24, how long does it take for the episodes to come out on dvd normally?

it really depends on the popularity of the show and if it's still in production or not. for popular shows it's usually a/b 2wks -6 mos. for defunct shows it could be up to a whole year. if it's had many seasons they space it out to a/b a yr to build demand for it,but now w/dvd's and blue discs they networks are getting them out a little sooner rather than later. i hope that helped.
