Question:

Question about Toothache...?

I've never actually had a toothache before, so I am not really sure what to expect.

I have no constant pain or anything, but it hurts to open my mouth wide and sometimes to chew. It only hurts on the lower left side of my jaw. Is this going to lead up to a major toothache? Is this how a toothache normally starts?

- I go to the dentist every six months and all that good stuff. The only issue I have is a cavity in one of my wisdom teeth. I am currently waiting for a consultation with an oral surgeon about my wisdom teeth. I don't really want to go back to the dentist since I was just there less than a month ago.

  1. Clove oil:Is great to use for toothaches. Apply a little on the affected tooth for some time and then rinse with warm water. Boil 5 grams of fresh peppermint in 1 cup water with a little salt. And rinse mouth well with this .Peppermint is an antiseptic and contains menthol which relives pain .Try out http://useinfo-dentalcare.blogspot.com/  for more details.

  2. You need to go in. It will only get worse to the point you can't bare it and end up finding a dentist who does ER appointments. Don't wait.

  3. When you go for the consultation, ask him if it's something with your tooth, or it could be in the jaw.

  4. try gargaling hot water w salt...that always helps any tooth or jaw pain and ask ur doc
